The call of an attack and approaching intruders had him already heading toward them. Gil's summons had him hurrying. He hadn't done very well in the last raid he attended, and he doubted he'd do any better with this one. Especially against the Armada. You would think his incredible failure against Tojo would've opened his eyes and had him work harder. But no. He remained the lazy, problematic, most arrogant creature to walk the earth still. Though he had failed last time, he believed he was too good to "practice" so he could get better. He was naturally talented, after all! His loss had just been a fluke! Even with Ignis ripping him a new one, Diablo ignored his father's warnings. It didn't matter to him.

Charging towards the scene, he saw both sides engaged in combat. Instead of running at some random enemy, he stalked the perimeter, crimson gaze moving from one potential target to the next as he debated on who to go after.
