Proven Under Fire

If Róta seemed a little surly, those guessing wouldn't be off the mark at all. She had even sobered up for this, curse her brother. But it had been too long and it was time to blow the cobwebs out of her joints and get back to what she was born to do. She didn't leave much stock in the gods after what they had done to her, but she tipped some mead on the flames for her brothers sake if nothing else before taking a swig to at least try and get herself a little buzzed in honor of what was to come. She stretched until her bones popped, shaking out her limbs. It was time.
