Proven Under Fire

Tomie wasn't a warrior technically. But they'd been told to work their way into the black man's good graces. He could chase her away from the meeting if he wanted but then she'd know she'd been right to not trust the man. Work her way up but with no chances? She'd take her family away right that moment, find them somewhere to go until they could free themselves. Still Tomie would try to hold out hope that he'd be whatever man it was her mother thought he was. Still she wasn't going to announce herself as she stalked towards the gathering, icy gaze sweeping over the wolves that were currently gathered. She was the youngest by far and her expression was practically daring anyone to challenge her being here. She'd settle herself off to the side of the majority of the group, obviously there but recognizing she wasn't one of them. Yet.
