She could hear the sound of Silent getting closer. Especially now that she knew the wolf was there, she felt keenly aware of her presence. Could hear her breathing, the soft shuffle of paws. So she wasn’t surprised when her voice sounded much closer this time. “No, it healed well. You did… a good job” She said, struggling with the niceties. She did appreciate what Silent had done for her. With even more reluctance, she moved her head this way and that, trying to gouge precisely where Silent was. “If you have a minute, could you… look at something for me?” She asked softly. Her hesitation painfully obvious. She did not enjoy asking others for help. |
