Vidarr's call did not go unheard. But the Priestess was not yet done saying her prayers. She prayed to the Old Gods. The New Gods. The Forgotten Gods. And others in between. She prayed for many things. But mainly, for strength and for her fate. She was getting old. She had no children of her own to pass down all that she'd learned in this life. Was her line going to end here? Would her bastard siblings be the ones to continue their bloodline? Continuously soiling it? She had no love for her siblings. Their kin, however, she was unsure of. She had not really bothered to meet any of them, so it was hard to say whether or not she thought they were fit. Still, it didn't matter, did it? The Klein name was nothing more than that now. Their blood had been soiled, and would never again be pure. Her siblings had decided to go and breed with anything that breathed as far as she was aware. No honor nor careful decision among them. Oh well. They did it to themselves. She would wait as long as necessary, and if she died before creating her own kin under a new name, then so be it.
At last, she opened her eyes and quietly rose. She donned what she had and made her way to the place where Vidarr had called. She strode with purpose, the warrior priestess finding the wolves she had chosen to join, a burning question in her bi-colored gaze as the mismatched woman took a seat among them. She said not a word, but simply waited for things to begin.
