It was unfortunate that his opponent had seen him coming. Though Ignis expected much. With the amount of bodies and eyes around them, the larger beast was bound to see him coming sooner or later. The dire wolf turned to face him, and through narrowed eyes, Ignis watched the other male begin his assault as well. Time almost seemed to slow down as his mind raged on. The whispers in his mind had quickly risen to howls. The Crimson Wolf did not falter in his charge nor did he think twice about taking on the larger male. It was admittedly strange to see another wolf that towered over him. As far as he was aware, he had been among the biggest. But now he knew there was a giant walking among them.

He didn't know if this wolf had any relation to the one he had just torn up, but if they were in the same pack, they were likely friends. Did he care? No. But that wouldn't stop him from making a snide remark. "She got what she deserved!" He snarled loud enough to be heard. As the pair nearly reached each other, Ignis opted to avoid a head-on collision and instead, veered to his right, head lowered in an effort to slash the bend of his opponent's elbow with his antler as he passed while jaws opened and sought to pierce beneath the giant's ribs in one, swift motion. If he were lucky, he'd make his opponent slip and falter. It wasn't something he'd usually go for, but considering the height difference, he'd have to try to adapt. He wasn't used to fighting someone larger than him, after all.
