The Wraith's Memento

The dark eyes of the wolf stared out at the river. Still pondered if she should have joined the clan that took over her original home. Mostly shifting her tail back and forth she admittedly had been pondering this. However, for the time being, she appreciated being free. Her tail swished back and forth as she spoke softly. She still wondered if it meant she was trapped if she joined a clan. She could use her skills to help others. However, for the time being, she admitted she liked the dark atmosphere of the forest. And given how others easily got lost it was rather poor for any one clan to try and make a claim on it. It would likely be considered incredibly dangerous. So she figured for the time being she was safe. Not that she had much chance if a clan did try to take over the forest. However for the time being she appreciated the silence save for the birds who flew overhead. Her tail perked as she heard the subtle approach of pressed leaves. Due to the eerie silence she for the most part could only hear the river bed and anyone trying to travel through the forest.
