Her mother was always so much fun, never one to discourage her actions, and Morticia hugged the giggling adult with a wide grin. Her own tail moved back and forth, a banner of her delight moving with what felt like an impossible amount of energy. When she would draw back her mother claimed they would do fun things, and Morticia’s eyes lit up. A trap? “Medusa can make sure prey doesn’t get away!?” The concept was fascinating to the yearling. When she hunted she enjoyed the chase, but sometimes it could take too long and sometimes things would even get away from her. That was always disappointing. But if she could make it so the prey couldn’t get away that would make hunting much easier! “Yes yes Medusa! Please teach Morticia how to make prey not able to run away! What is needed? Can bones help? Morticia has lots of different bones Medusa can use!” Would her collection come in handy?
