Another pack was attacking them. Balian was not a stranger to the ways of the wolves, he'd been living among them for years now, and he spotted the strangers coming toward Avalon. He secured the lambs he'd been watching before he raced to meet the raiders. Hooves thundered across the ground, the stallion snorted angrily as he approached. Avalon was relatively peaceful, was that making them a target for other packs now? Ears flicked momentarily when he heard Corbie speak to the leading wolf on the opposing side, though they quickly pinned against his head. He stopped just behind Corbie, pawing the ground with anger and anticipation. Were they going to go home? Or continue their path forward? Crystalline hooves glinted in the moonlight as he prepared, the stallion ready and waiting to charge in and stomp whomever dared threaten Avalon's peace. |
