Words were exchanged between the two alphas, but it seemed that the invading wolves did not give a damn about the option that Corbie presented. They wanted to take what wasn't theirs. He didn't get it, but perhaps he didn't need to. As the opposing wolves made their choices known, Cloud's low rumble of a growl quickly grew, and his attention turned toward one that spoke directly to him. It was a much younger male of course, but he was fully kitted out with the mutations that plagued the wolves of the lands. Perhaps things like that came in handy, though Cloud hadn't been fortunate (or unfortunate?) enough to have been born with such things. He was of the more traditional type, and that was fine by him.

He ignored the other guys banter and rushed in, the old man quickly eating the short distance between them as he sought to throw his shoulder into Kuroki, head snapping up as he aimed to grab the fleshy part of the guys shoulder as well. This new pack was not well received. Not with Avalon, anyway. Not when this was the first time they were meeting. He wanted to live in peace, but he would fight when he needed to in order to protect what was theirs.
