Words were futile, it seemed. And during the course of talking, a younger wolf would come to stand before him. Finan showed no kindness toward her. She was not his friend. She deserved no kindness from him when she was here to steal from a pack that had done no harm to anyone. His hackles bristled and he showed his teeth, keen gaze observing the way she carried herself. He generally wasn't the hostile type, but when it came to protecting his home for the first time? It was safe to say he was well within his rights to feel the way he did. He had lost too much already. He did not wish to lose anymore, even if they were...whatever these wolves had come for.

The raider bitch charged at him, and Finan aimed to do the same. The gap between them wasn't much, so he sprang forward with all the force he could muster in an effort to knock the wind from her body and rattle her. As her head came swinging toward his, he opened his jaws and aimed to grab her muzzle in a tight grip. Not enough to cause severe damage, but enough pressure to force her to back off!
