"Do not worry, I will," she taunts back at the equine as he snorts indignantly at her. In the moments that he begins to charge forward, Tenshi readies herself. Paws slightly spaced and toes digging into the soft dirt. Her ears fold back, hackles raised fully, and her tail tucked neatly between her legs. She even has adorned her shoulder pads and attached to her leg is a sheath that holds three throwing stars. Though one cannot see her muscles tense and move beneath her thickened skin and fur, it is there as she propels herself forward to meet the tall creature. A growl ripples from her throat as he lashes out with his hooves. Though he is fast, she is quick to dodge out of the way. Keeping a foot or so between them, she is careful not to get in the way of his hooves. Instead, she moves so that she is more perpendicular to him. As he strikes out at her, she pushes her shoulder toward him so he gets a mouth full of thick leather. Her mischievous grin returns as she pushes forward past him. In the next few steps, as she lines up with his side, she aims to toss her head up at his belly area and hopefully stick him with an antler. Just as quickly as she had tossed her head, she pulled it back and danced away from the horse. It would be stupid to stay close. ”Speech” ’Thought’ |
