How long since she'd chosen to hide away from the world? To heal wounds created by the earth's storm. Time simply slipped from her grasps. Only stuck in a wormhole of eating and sleeping. Piles of bones stacking undeniably outside of the hollowed tree she'd chosen to call her home. Temporarily. Hanmel knew somewhere out there her brothers were looking for her. She just couldn't find it in her to meet them in the condition that she was in. Weak. Pathetic looking. A grimace crossing over already disgusted features at the way her coat shown disheveled. It took her forever to get most of her body back in decent condition. A slightly sprained ankle now able to carry weight without the intake of sharp breaths. Hunger and thirst satisfied for the moment.
Hanmel felt that it was time to move on. As much as she would indeed miss the makeshift hole, she called home. She slipped away under the moon's gaze. Her markings more visible than any as she maneuvered the paths created by her over the short weeks followed upon her arrival. With such a small frame, there wasn't a thing she couldn't move around. Even now, when the smell of freshly cooked meat hit her nose, Mel slithered into the nearest bush to conceal herself. Scenting at the air with a salivating hunger with every intent to snag the good smelling food. Now, this shall be interesting.
