He had bested the girl that had come at him. The moment she fell away from him, Finan danced away to catch his breath. But he didn't have long before he heard a cry over the cacophony of fighting around him, and by the time he realized he was being attacked, the weight had hit him and sent him toward the ground. The impact was hard, forcing the wind from his lungs and he barely had time to register what was going on before he felt sharp teeth biting into his flank. Snarling, Finan allowed himself a moment to fall, rolling to the ground until he was on his back. His opponent lunged for his exposed stomach, and without much thought, he kicked his back legs up and into the underside of her jaw, effectively shutting her mouth and literally saving his hide. He hurried to roll onto all fours again before springing forward, seeking to slam the point of his shoulder into her throat to choke her. His flank hurt like hell, his body already feeling sore from impact, but he let the adrenaline fuel him onward.
