The fight was growing more intense by the second. The Viking he was fighting seemed to be out for blood, and unfortunately, he had gotten caught up as her target. He snarled as he did his best to keep her at bay, but the Viking warrior before him seemed hell-bent on taking him out in any way she could. He supposed it was better that it was him instead of his older uncle. While he had no doubts that Cloud could handle his own, Finan wanted to prove himself. To prove that he was capable of protecting what needed protection. His loyalty to Avalon. To the family he made here. He could smell the blood around him. Both his own, and the blue wolf's in front of him. His forcing her to literally shut her mouth only seemed to enrage her, however, and they were now chest to chest. The sound she made made him a bit uneasy, but it would not deter him. They pushed against each other, both trying to get the upperhand. She then reared up, and although he saw her paw coming, he didn't notice that her paws were different than his. She slammed it against his head, her claws raking down his muzzle and he could feel his flesh tearing and the warmth of blood in their wake. Immediately he turned his head toward her broad paw, obsidian fangs flashing in the night as he grabbed her paw in his teeth and pulled back and shook his head, effectively forcing her to follow him as he forced that leg to extend as he tried to strain the limb and at the same time, causing her bite to snap on air. Through the pain of his wounds and his determination, he hoped that he could make this ordeal uncomfortable for her, while at the same time pulling her muscles and putting her out of the fight.
