A blue-coated imp of a girl practically leaped from behind the bushes. His eyes widen momentarily as she shouts and presents herself. Nearly choking on his drink, he swallows it down hard and gives her an annoyed but quizzical look. "Not much fun if yer hidin' in the brush," he retorts with a snort from his nostrils before turning back to look at the flames beside him. Whether she was attractive was beside the point, she'd been snooping on him. "If you'd wan'ed some, ya could've jus' asked," Scald said off-handedly as he takes another sip. The burn is welcomed and the wooziness is making his eyes swim. It is a feeling he is used to. "Got enough to share, if ya like," he rolls a second bottle that had been tucked behind him toward the girl. Though small, she didn't appear too young to drink. Maybe some new company would do him good. As much as he missed Ely, he didn't think he'd ever see her again. Broken hearted? No. Sad about it? Yeah. S C A L D
