Here's the thing about ruthlessness like theirs-- it's sacred. It's holy. Everything about it, from tip to tail, is beautiful. Beautiful, violent, deadly. They are perfectly in tune with each other, and perfectly in tune with the weft and weave of the fates. It's beautiful, and it's terrible. Both of those things can be true. Both of those things are true, as his coat is covered in gore. This is exactly how he's meant to be seen, be viewed, in the eyes of the gods.

Víðarr shifts his weight, sundering his way upon the cat's hindquarters. He holds on, barely needing to put a real effort in. The predator was smaller than he, though it flailed and tried to wriggle away, it's outmatched. Far outmatched, by the pair that held it. Víðarr is relaxed enough, watching as Tenshi takes control of the creature, half forcing it beneath the water. There would never come a day when he wasn't in awe of her, heart warm in his chest as he watches the woman work. Oh how he loves her.
