With his fur between her teeth, she watches him carefully. What was he going to say? The anticipation makes her heart race. Seconds pass until he grumbles. Her ears flick back in response before pressing forward. Letting go of his fur, she rolls her eyes again. "We are babies you idiot," Delphi says with a dramatic sigh before resting her chin down on her paws for a moment before a big smile spreads across her face. She can't hide the wiggle of her tail and butt at the fact that he admitted that he had had fun with her. It was as if the old Delphi was back. While chaotic and very emotional, it was the optimistic and happy-go-lucky side that had been hiding all along. "Deny it all you want, but we both know you have fun with me," she says quickly before getting maybe a stupid idea. Rolling slightly away from his side, Delphi hops up onto her paws and then quickly scrambles up onto his back. Plopping herself down so her legs are splayed over either side of him, she rests her chin on top of his head. "See, isn't this comfy?" Delphi asks as she tries to lay still with her eyes closed. It was something she did with her larger siblings and father. Since she was so small, it was easy to fit on top and once Strai was big enough, she would probably be able to curl up too. |
