Day Of Judgement, God Is Calling

The wolves of Insomnia seemed to pop up like daisies. They apparently knew this terrain well enough that they were able to come meet the Raiders so quickly and half of them came in like ambush predators as if they'd been waiting for this moment. Perhaps it was just coincidence, but he didn't have much time to think more about it before he recognized a body he hadn't seen in...well...probably since the fall of his own pack. The surprised voice from his son confirmed it, but Ignis merely looked at him for a moment before his attention was called elsewhere. His goth cockatoo called an alarm, and he spotted the woman coming straight for him with what appeared to be a wooden staff.

Snarling, he turned to engage, pivoting just out of reach of her weapon before he thrust forward, kicking off in a spray of dirt and grass as he launched his full weight at her. She was of similar height, so it was useless trying to shove her to the ground, but there were other methods he could try. He lifted himself a bit, forelegs seeking to wrap around her neck. His right limb sought to come up beneath her neck and the left over the back of it. If anything, he needed to try to limit the distance between them, and make it harder for her to smack him with her oversized stick! And to help with this, his jaws lunged for her scruff in an attempt to grab and twist, hoping to be able to yank her head back.
