To state there was a wide gap between Morticia’s fighting skill and the fighting skill of the man she was rushing headlong for would be an understatement. The yearling has never battled, hadn’t learned the proper forms for defenses. What she attempts now is based on what she has done with hunting and nothing more. The man does not move, and Morticia is excited as she makes the move to “play” with her opponent. Her body meets the side of his and Morticia practically stumbles over her own paws. Not the best luck, because a moment later there is pain. It blooms on her gut and Morticia gasps with the sudden pain. Bumps and bruises were one thing, but the yearling was unfamiliar with the costs of battling. Around her neck Skua hisses, the snake attempting to lash out at the older wolf as a distraction. Dagg, despite his sparrow-like size, aims to land on the top of the other wolf’s muzzle and serve as an additional distraction. Morticia on the other paw buckles and falls slightly forward,the tilt of her fall heading toward Gilgamesh’s back leg.
