It was high time that Lurid started to explore more of Boreas than just the northern territories, Requiem was right. She would never fully recover from her illness unless they found somewhere else to live. It was time to abandon ship, so to speak. With a sad huff of her crystalline breath, Lurid set off for sightseeing. Her search for her sister continued as she went, hunting Atropos as if she were a common deer. Still, she came up with nothing. Lurid had kept a southern trajectory as she made her way through the lands for perhaps the first time since she had landed on the northern shores of Boreas. Each time she left a territory without Atropos being found, her anger mounted and climbed until she was seething with angry worry. It was the worst sort of anger, one that wound around her heart like a boa constrictor.
Here in the south, Lurid found herself empty-handed once again. This time, red crept into the edges of her vision and she couldn't hold in her rage any longer. Black sand shifted beneath massive quartz white paws, the ocean racing up to kiss the feet of the moonlit goddess. The sun had just barely begun to climb into the sky, but the peace of the morning was about to be interrupted. "Atropos!" She roared the name on duo vocals, hoping like hell she had been heard by the little purple witch. The form that greeted her holographic white-to-lavender gaze was not that of her sister, however. Suddenly, she was moving toward the dark shape on the horizon at a lope. then a run.
No, he was not Atropos. He was not her sister and he would pay for it! How dare he interrupt her investigation by taking a stroll down a very beautiful beach at sunrise! How dare he try to exist in his own world, not caring if her sister was coming back or not. He was a stranger who wouldn't know what he had done, but Lurid would make him regret coming here. Massive paws slapped against wet sand and water splashed as she moved quickly to cover the distance between them. Rocketing toward the darkly colored male, the ivory devil had rage in her eyes. A banshee-like scream was the only warning he would get as she drew closer to him, aiming to tackle the stranger off his guard. She would destroy him for being here when her sister should have answered her call.
