Boredom had become the real danger while Tani was sick. She wasn't allowed outside, wasn't allowed to do this or that. Well she was tired of being told no. Just because she was blind didn't mean she was some fragile little baby.

No! She was a big kid now!

Her ears had perked to the sounds of her mom entering the den and her nose immediately picked up a new smell. She hadn't smelled that one yet. Better yet she hadn't figured out what that one was yet. It smelled kind of sweet, and because she knew her mother had brought it home she knew she had to know more about it. She could hear iki gnawing on a bone or something but she could care less about the dumby and his food.

She lifted herself quietly after she was sure her ma had turned her back and put the new herb away. Ink didn't smell too close which meant she likely was about to get away with her favorite thing. She crawled closer to her mother's storage and started nosing about. Her little nubbed head, as her antlers were starting to fully form on her head, was fully in the stores in seconds. Likely her mother was about to turn around too. But she was determined. She could smell it and she just wanted a quick taste.
