Her protests have his eyes racing around them. As he backs against the tree, honey dripping onto his forehead, he feels her pressing into his side. Finally, perhaps a bit delayed for his normal aptitude, he realizes that the little black and yellow things buzzing around them were the things biting and stinging them. Another crying yelp leaves him as he raises a paw out to swipe at the bees. He's able to bat a few away, but that only infuriates the others more and invites them to attack him. "What'd'we do!" Akito cries out in a pained grumble screech. Pressing back into the girl to try to use her as a shield himself, he continues to swat at the bees.
