Bears Being Rude

The pair of ladies walked together through the land, conversing quietly and generally having a good time while tracking a dangerous bear. It was easy going between them. A natural balance. Isa was incredibly fond of Andromeda and, the more time that they spent together, the more she looked upon the horned girl in a daughter-like manner. Isa's children had died, eaten away with the sickness that decimated her pack. She had never been able to be a proper mother, so part of her felt as though this was a bit of redemption for her loss.

Isa caught Andy staring at her and offered the girl a sweet smile. She leaned in and gave her a little nuzzle of affection which was interrupted by the lowing sound of a bear. The pair shared a look, a little wince was given by Isa as the bear roared. Ugh... things were never easy.

Together they tracked the bear, using the direction of the sound as a marker. It didn't take them long to find it and neither wasted a moment before rushing into battle. Andy used her horns to her advantage and Isa ran around the back, sinking her teeth into the tendons at the back of the ursine's legs. Her head thrashed back and forth and blood was quick to flow. The bear struggled a bit, not sure if it should fight or flee. In the end, it chose to fight. Dumb.
