He pushed her into the dirt, eliciting a whine from the smaller wolf. He pushed aside the feeling of guilt, determined to see this through. He wanted answers, it was clear that there was a great deal of emotional damage that had been dealt here, and he needed to understand it. His tactics might be brutish and thoughtless, but his heart was in the right place.

When the fight was clearly won, he listened to her pleading, releasing his hold of her, and offering her a paw up. He didn’t really expect her to take it, but he felt the need to offer regardless. “What happened, Delphi?” He asked again.
