Aresenn didn't quite understand the frustration that plauged him after leaving his company with Andromeda. It was no fault of her own. He enjoyed the time he spent with her, and had actually found himself reluctant to leave. The problem was, he wanted her. But with what little rationality he maintained, he had to constantly remind himself that it was simply not feasible. How could he have her, and not hurt her? With the demon lingering in the back of his mind, he had no idea how he could manage both.
So rather than returning to the Polar Sound, the area that Seph had chosen to linger in for whatever reason, Aresenn found himself drifting south toward the battlefield. He had never personally visited before, but had often heard it was a good place to go if you were looking for a fight. He needed an outlet in a bad way, and he hoped that by lingering in a place that wreaked of blood, pride, and fear ... he might find someone willing to take him up on that.
