Cifarelli preferred his alonetime, she knew that, and so it meant a great deal to Auriga that Cif' had accompanied her out this way. She would show him by letting him have a fun time with the wolverine-- and afterwards, hunting him a woman. It would be a surprise. He went in ahead of her, and Auriga lowered her head as well, trotting into the dark, yawning mouth. She yearned to find the creature-- to see it spatter against the frigid metal. Some edges cut out sharp from the wall; strange artifacts of some other creatures littered the ship. "Maybe we can find a pretty thing after this," Auriga murmured to her brother. "You can have her first as a sign of thanks, no?" After she spoke, she heard something skittering-- claws on a floor that they weren't accustomed to.
Her head whipped to the side and she saw the wolverine glancing back at her, from down a hall. The creature growled and twisted, skittering down the hall and vanishing-- Auriga thundered after it, making plenty of noise so the wolverine could panic on the way. |
