Flinching before daring to peer up at him, Aurelia was once again pinned between the beast and the wall. Being this close put Sephiran in her crosshairs- she could easily lash out and try to bite him if she wanted to. Though, a physical retaliation was the last thing on his mind… and likely, the last on hers as well. Dark, off-black, black.. It was Rhazien alright. Sephiran couldn’t help himself, he interrupted and asked another question. Nobody, there was nobody else- His ears pinned back, frustration welling inside of him. Why did Rhazien approach her alone? Why wasn’t he with the others? His head was still spinning, trying to wrap around the information. He even missed most of her retaliation, given he was so lost inside his thoughts. And the expression on his face acted as a window to his inner turmoil.
” I’ve never blatantly lied to you!” But that statement, he did hear. Blinking several times, Sephiran continued to stare into her hardened gaze. Silence overtook the cavern, the snowstorm raging in the background but here, all they could hear was their heavy breaths and heartbeats. “If you believe your death pact to be true-“ He leaned in closer, gaze alit with maniacal wanderlust. “-confess to me that you'll be mine forever.” If she never lied, now was the time to test that. A short pause, before he impulsively added. “-and in return,” He didn't outright say it, but his eyes glanced down to her leg. I'll fix it.
