Will you watch the fireflies with me?

Scald is honestly amazed that such luck had fallen him that night. Where had this blessed woman come from? On such an evening when he felt loneliest? He wondered such things as he kept his nose pressed close to her skin. Breathing her scent in deeply, he listened to her giggle and pant in such a way that made his own belly stir. He continues to trail his nose along her sleek fur, feeling the goosebumps raise along her skin. Ah, was he getting to her so quickly? Amused, his own breathy chuckle escapes him as her words slip into his ear. If this was the game she wished to play, he supposed he would make the next move.

Lifting his gaze as she fans her tail, he watches her carefully. Pressing back as she brushes closer to him, he shifts so that his larger frame is curling around her more. Reaching up to tug on the fur by her cheek with his front teeth, he continues to place nipping kisses down her neck until he reaches her shoulder. There he breathes in her scent again, inhaling deeply as he shifts his body once more. The crackle of the fire feels loud in his ears as he pauses a moment, teasing his tongue along her spine, eyes watching to see how she reacts.
