her steps, normally light with a faint jaunty lilt to them, drag obnoxiously across the ground. there’s a scraping of claws, a hiss of fur brushing earth, and the faint bump bump bump as a limp cranium lolls across the ground. pausing, Yarra readjusts her grip, casting a disparaging look at the creature dangling from her jaws. it’s eyes stare, blank and unseeing, it’s mouth gaping stupidly with a pink tongue drooping from between bloodied lips. distantly, Yarra admires it’s spotted pelt, imagining it’s hide spread out across the floor of some potential new den. she bet Seph doesn’t have a lynx carpet, where ever he is.
