Blue gaze watched the woman breaking in front of him. His ears laid back slightly as he watched the goat bleed out. It's life force already gone from who knows how long of suffering. He would listen and watch her, brows creasing together in heartfelt concern as he slowly walked towards her. Indeed, this encounter had come as a shock to him. He had never seen Loccian so violent before, but it would seem that this sort of stress and situation would do that to a wolf...especially when her brother was on the front lines of battle. He would stop to press his nose comfortingly to her neck, eyes closing for a moment before he moved slightly back to look at her.

To him, she looked so broken, so hurt, on the verge of losing herself. And he understood, because he had been there before many times. Especially after he had been separated from ellone. "Loccian...I am sorry for the losses to Glaciem. Your brother, however, I am sure is fine. He's strong, he wouldn't let them take him away from you. If you're all one another has, then his strength of will and his determination to protect you will keep him alive and fighting." He wasn't sure how much reassurance his words would do. He wasn't very good at this, but he would try for her. Gently, he would clean off the blood that was on her fur, and when he finished he would move closer to her as if to embrace her, pressing his body close to her in an attempt to comfort and reassure. "It'll be alright...I promise everything will be alright...I'll always be here for you, and your brother will come home soon. I have an apology to make to him, so he has to come back. And if I must, I'll go out and bring him home." He wasn't sure how much effect his words would have, but at the very least he could try.
