He needed something for a new stew. Something he hadn't made before, and something he was determined to experiment with. First, he needed the main ingredient. Goat. And he knew a good spot where he might find them nearby. Unfortunately, it meant that he might be subject to the howling of the wind that seemed to get trapped at the bottom of the gorge, but the goats were unlikely to be that far...maybe. He would have to try and herd them down that way if he wanted an easier time of catching one. He wasn't as sure-footed as they were on the slopes, but his reindeer companion and the small eagle would definitely have a good chance in herding them closer to where he'd have an advantage.

As he stalked quietly into the gorge, he could already hear the wind howling below him. He had climbed to a higher point above ground level so he could first find his prey before he was deafened by the winds. As his companions went on ahead to help search, he heard a low grunting somewhere ahead, echoing in the canyon.
