Poisonous Endeavours

As soon as that whimper escaped, Lurid knew she had gotten her point across. She waited still, her sister hollering for her to let go and get off of her. Once Sanguine's body went lax with submission, Lurid released her hold on the dark woman's cheek but she did not move from over her. Calm now, Lurid gently licked the blood from her sister's cheek as though she were wiping away mere tears. "Take my warning, Sanguine, don't mistake it. I rule here, not you. We do not go our own ways anymore. Despite what you may think, I have missed you." There was the softer side of the dark-minded goddess, one only her siblings and mate got from her. "Next time we are separated, be sure to seek me out."

Lurid moved then to let her sister up. Once Sanguine was on her feet, Lurid moved to wrap her forelimbs around the darker woman and squeeze her tightly, as though her assault had never happened. "Come, we should get that cheek looked at...I am sorry it had to come to that." It was an apology only Sanguine had gotten, Lurid never apologized for handing out punishments. Only to her siblings and mate, and probably her children if she should ever have any.
