I'm going to give playing a pup another chance, but of course I will only apply for le boy kuz me and boys are just awesome ^-^
Cost: 300 for appaloosa markings
Name:Caeto Adravendi-Mathias
Appearance:The young prince is a mixture of two very great blood lines in Alacritis, but it is clear, even from birth, which line he takes after the most. Mathias runs strong through the boy's veins and there is no denying who his father is. A thick coat of russet decorates the young man, bathing him in a shade similar to his father's, though a lot more muted. Where the King is a bright russet, able to be spotted from very far distances and easily recognized, his young son inherited a more natural color. It's still russet, but in different lights, it may appear brown. The russet-brown covers his entire body, save for one particular spot; his rump. Just like his father, Caeto sports an off white patch across the majority of his rump, with the russet appearing in an appaloosa like pattern. The young Prince would be the spitting image of his father, save for one minor detail; his eyes. Unlike Maverick's bright lime green, the boy's are more of a cool azure, much like his mother's. All in all, a handsome young specimen. Once fully grown, the man will stand at 36 inches and be something of a force to be reckoned with.
Personality:
Looks isn't the only department that the young Prince takes after his father.
Quiet/Observant: Caeto isn't very outgoing to say the least. He won't be the one who seeks to be the center of attention. He won't be the one initiating games with his siblings or taking them out on dangerous adventures. That's not him. He's quiet; very quiet. And it's not because he's shy, that's far from it. He just doesn't feel the need to be anywhere and everywhere with everyone. He would rather sit back and watch things unfold, learn from other's mistakes. His learning experience is through watching others do it. He's something of a calculating little thing, wanting to figure things out before he tries to do them himself. He's extremely observant, so don't be surprised if he happens to notice something that you yourself aren't aware of.
Loyal: He's loyal first most to his family because they're the ones who will always be there for him. They're the ones who take care of him and help him out whenever he needs assistance, and in the young man's mind that merits undying and unwavering loyalty which is exactly what his family has from him. He will do anything and everything for each member of his family until his dying breath. The same thing goes for friends, though with his quiet nature, there might not be too many friends to speak of.
Intense/Focused: Once he sets his mind to something, it's practically impossible to get this guy to stop. Whether it be a hunting lesson, spar, or anything really. Once he begins, he has the tendency to follow through with something at all costs, whether that be at the cost of a good night's sleep or getting a good meal, or disobeying his parents, Caeto always finishes what he starts.
Independent: He tends to do his own thing most of the time. Not that he doesn't love his siblings or his family, he just likes being on his own a lot of the time. He tries to do things on his own as much as possible without having to ask for help. You could say he's a bit prideful, but he's just extremely independent and wants to do everything on his own.
Volatile: Where his father is quick tempered, the young Prince is much worse. He's like a ticking russet time bomb. He's usually pretty good about keeping his anger in control, but he doesn't hesitate to let you know that you're pissing him off. His quiet nature wouldn't tip anyone off to his volatile nature, but if you push his buttons hard enough, he's going to snap and he's going to snap hard. Those smart enough would heed his warnings and back off before they get to see a different side to the young Mathias that they otherwise wouldn't see.
RP Sample:
The lessons for the day were over. Mom and Dad, most Dad anyways, had shown them the basics of what it was like to become a King and rule over a pack. Like a good student, Caeto had sat near the back, as far from his siblings as he could manage, russet plume curled around his toes, azures focused intently on the brighter russet figure of his sire as he explained the workings of a pack. On more than one occasion his two siblings had to be shushed by their mother, which only made the pair that much more disruptive, irritating the young Maverick look-alike. With very little patience, the young boy was able to keep his composure around his parents. Despite having not the best of tempers, the young boy tried his best not to blow up around his parents, especially not at his siblings when they were around. It wasn't exactly the ideal situation, especially if the threat of punishment loomed over his possible outbursts.
The last word had barely left his father's lips when the young Prince disappeared into the brush, having had his full of his siblings for the day. He loved them to death, don't get him wrong, but sometimes they were too much for him. Like today for instance. Azure gaze was kept on the ground, skull inclined towards his paws, ears flattened against his skull, tail lashing angrily behind him. Why couldn't they take something seriously for once in their lives? Just because they were young didn't mean that everything had to be a game. Eventually, they would have to grow up; things wouldn't always be rainbows and sunshine. An irritated huff would bubble from his russet lips, one ear flicking up as the sound of paw steps caught his attention. Someone was coming. He barely had enough time to turn around to realize that it was his brother before his sibling was barreling into him, tossing Caeto head over heels into the dirt.
That was the last straw for the young boy. He waited until he had stopped rolling before shakily getting back to his paws, his shoulders throbbing lightly. An irritated growl would rumble in his throat as he searched for his brother's figure, which was in a heap not too far from where he had landed, laughter ringing out as he slowly got his paws as well. Why the hell can't you just leave me alone?! The young Prince would snarl at his brother, lips curling back against his pearly daggers as he launched himself forward, looking to sink his fangs into his brother. All he wanted was to be left alone. Was that too much to ask?
Future Plans / Plot Ideas?:
Maybe have him be apprenticed under his dad
Find a romance somewhere in Val?
Or maybe become the outcast of the family because he's far too independent to try and become the heir
