Resetting

Flurry was taking her sweet ass time getting back home from Armada lands. She needed to get her head right, figure out how she was gonna approach everything she'd learned. How she was going to approach sharing what the warlord had told her with her father. She supposed she'd get her answer on if her words would mean anything after that, one way or the other. What Flurry needed was a chance to go back to her old self. If only for a bit. Something to get her mind back to where it had once been.

Maybe that was why she was taking so long, she was looking for something to amuse herself with. Maybe a pretty face, a girl to flirt with. Or a man she guessed. Or some other gender. Honestly she wasn't picky at the best of times and right now she was almost desperate. Hell she'd even be happy with the rude glowing man who couldn't take a compliment from the last raid, though she had to admit he'd be a tough nut to crack the challenge would be worth it.

Flurry sighed and plopped herself down under the shade of one of the Willows, not that shade was what any of them needed right now, really it was more like shelter from the light drizzle that had been on and off all day. This spring was proving to be a wet one, after a stormy winter she wasn't sure it was that much of an improvement.
