★ Random Event: Slip and slide

A torrential downpour has turned the dirt of the Polar Sound into a muddy mess. With each step, the muck sucks at the donkey’s legs, attempting to stop his slow forward progress. Grunts and several, colorful curse words fall from his lips as he treks on, attempting to climb the slippery slopes of the Sound so that he may rejoin his herd. The going is sluggish and loose rocks often prick the soft sole of his hooves. Oscar grunts as a flurry of gravel tumbles down from higher up, his long ears fall flat as a few of the annoying rocks smack uncomfortably into his head.

With an annoyed snort, he tilts his head up to shout at whomever is ahead of him, “Oi! Be more careful up there! There are others tryin’ to climb too!” Nostrils flare as he continues to grumble, the rain not only soaking his thick, fluffy coat but damping his mood as well. While he knows that there is a wolf is ahead of him, the ass is way too mad to give a flying fuck if he pisses them off. All Oscar cares about right now, is navigating his way out of this hell hole so that he can back to his family and rest.

One of his back legs buckle as a sharp, pointy rock stabs the tender soul of his hoof and he grunts in pain as he quickly attempts to readjust his footing. Mud covers most of his legs as he extracts one hoof from the mud, the dirt making a strange, sucking sound as it leaves, only to have it reenter the mucky chaos of the ground a few inches ahead of here it was. With a loud, “FUCK YOU RAIN!” the donkey brays his angry at the world as his legs begin to wobble. Climbing through this shit is difficult work and the small ass is quickly getting tired.
