The snake was massive, muscular, and angry. Jael had done enough to piss it off, or push it farther, one of the two. She tried to keep her teeth sunk into the beast, but it's too strong. Wrenching free, striking out again. The snake found her foreleg with its teeth. She scrambled backwards, yanking the paw free, landing flat on her ass in the mud in the process. It's in this moment Jael was acutely aware she was no longer alone. Someone else had joined the fight. About the same age as the son of Gil's she'd met, but already larger than Jael herself. A powerhouse already, and she gave Jael a moment to right herself, regroup.
From there, she re-launches her assault on the snake. Jael is fierce, teeth gnashing and snapping as she tries to grab the very angry spaghetti as best she can. The creature was thick, her mouth jammed open, but Jael was determined. Oh she was bound and determined to give the creature whatfor. It writhed and thrashed, and though Jael hung on for dear life, it was rocking the girl on her feet. She ground her teeth, fighting through the tough scales as she fought to maintain control.
As her keepers, Gilgamesh and Modesty may join any of Jael’s threads if they deem necessary.
