Pushing through the pain that flooded her muzzle, Cal continued to shake. She shook as wildly as she could manage until the snake's jaw was hanging open. Limp and loose as the bone disconnected from the skull. The behemoth of a vile creature groaned and hissed, protesting as it tried to fling Cal away. Unfortunately for the reptile, Cal was persistent. Blood poured over her face as she ripped the snake's lower jaw from its body. Before it could land on her, she stumbles away and nearly falls on her butt.

The booming thud of the snake hitting the concrete has her smiling. Stalking slowly over to the snake, Cal spits out its jaw at it before biting down on its neck to end its life. The warmth of the snake leaves its body and Cal doesn't falter. Stepping back, she turns to the girl who looks worse for wear. "Not'sa bad," she mentions before turning back to the snake. Perhaps the nicest thing Cal has ever said to anyone before. "Now, how're we gunna get this outta here?" Cal asks aloud, knowing the girl will help, right?
