For once, Sephiran fell silent while he worked, unable to conjure up the smug comments and insults he usually taunted her with. Choosing to focus on his task instead, he placed his paws on her hip similarly to when he dislocated it- one on her inner thigh, and the other placed on her outer hip. It was warm to the touch, ridden with inflammation. Feeling around until he located the head of her femur, he applied pressure to ensure the anatomical landmark was correct. Once he got a thorough outcry from her, Sephiran would shift his gaze back to hers. He didn’t give any forewarning. His paws suddenly jerked, causing her femur to twist and shove upward, popping it back into the socket with a sickening crunch of bone grinding against cartilage. It was a gut-wrenching sound, loud enough to make anyone nauseated but for Sephiran, it sent pleasure crawling up his spine.
