The snake hit the bottom of the pool with a thud, one that echoed far louder than Jael would have imagined. Still trying to catch her breath and admittedly finding herself a bit tired and unsteady on her feet, Jael took a step back. It had been a lot to take the creature out, but it was done. It was done and she was pleased with that. She couldn't help but smile at Calliope-- the girl had done well. Without her help, Jael doubts the outcome would have been the same.
"You either." It's an appreciative nod, a lopsided grin. Her tail wagged loosely at her haunches, and she slowly circled the snake carcass. Studying, then trying to roll the dead weight with a paw. Nose wrinkling for a moment before making her determination. "We ask your dad to do it, probably," Jael was thoughtful, considering their defeated foe. She could feel the aching in her ankle, limp becoming a bit more pronounced again. The chances she'd be any help when it came to moving this thing? Low. Yeah, this might be something for Gilgamesh to handle, or get someone to handle for him. That sounded good.
As her keepers, Gilgamesh and Modesty may join any of Jael’s threads if they deem necessary.
