Monster House

Rawhide spent much of her time pondering the wall of light that Medusa used-- her mother would walk through it to settle with the siblings, but leave back through it, and this left Rawhide wondering despite herself.

The patchy little skeleton kept her head down and her tail out warily behind her. Each step was measured and careful as she walked. Careful. She had to be careful... her siblings were her world, as was Medusa.

With her legs stiff and hackles raised, Rawhide sidled into the open world, only to run a few steps forward, stumble, and begin a low frustrated puppy growl! She blinked rapidly. "B'ite!"
