Monster House

Ichabod has been one of the babes that decidedly didn’t come out of the den. Whether that was because of the light or wanting to please his mother whom he knew did NOT want them out there quite yet, he didn’t know. But when she told them they could leave, the boy was already on his gangly legs following before rawhide.

As he entered the light, a small growl escaped his jaws as he lowered his brown head down. It was so bright! His light eyes were overwhelmed and he tried to use his puppy paw to cover it. In his blind stupor he was clumsily knocking into his siblings, most notably running into the back of Rawhide’s skeleton body.
