He could smell the deer! They couldn’t be far off, and he could probably drag at least… at least a whole half a deer home. Probably. Something like that. With a brilliant grin on his face and an excited slip in his step, Bay allowed his soft blue gaze to settle across the Prairie. How lovely! A young boy seemed to be doing the same, catching Bay’s eye with a glimmer. Tracking them… well, surely neither of them could take down a deer on their own but together? Together they probably could. With a wag of his tail and a skip in his step, the golden boy closed the gap between himself and the pup. “Here, we can hunt together! It’ll be easier!” Bay chirped, tone singsongy, trotting to catch up. He’s honed in on the scent of the deer, just around the next corner. Joyful and ready as ever, Bay looked to the boy with a bright smile. |
