After receiving a hug from her father, she stayed at his side. Bouncing her gaze between the two, Clove watched their interaction unfold. She noticed how the stranger modified his body language- pulling his ears back, wagging his tail, smiling at her father. He was being very friendly, accommodating even. Which made Clove smile and wag her tail too. His comment even brought out a giggle from her- a bug in his throat? It must have been from him running so fast! And his name, it was Morgan Wilder. Her expression got a little more serious then. She wanted to commit his name to memory, and was hoping they could have more encounters after this. He had been fun to play with, so far. Trying to bid a goodbye, or maybe just being respectful. Morgan asked if he needed to leave. Shifting her gaze to Artorias, she unknowingly presented her most effective move- big ole puppy eyes. She didn’t want Morgan to leave! But she wasn’t going to disobey her father or beg for the new guy to stay either… at least, not out loud. Whether this swayed Artorias’ decision or not, she wasn’t entirely sure. But he offered to let the male stay, keep playing, and even have some of their food if he wanted! Father was being so generous. “I will!” She said, referring to his comment about staying in the pack lands. Artorias called for his ravens, giving them an instruction she assumed. With a muzzle to her forehead, which she affectionately pressed against him, Artorias bid a farewell. Waiting until he was out of eyesight, Clove whirled back around to face Morgan. “If you wanna stay and hang out more,” She was searching his face for any signs that he might want to leave. “I can show you our wildberry grove!” If he decided to stay, Clove had full intentions of towing him around all day and showing him the Hallows. -exit- |
