Kite had been making her careful way through the eastern territory. It was a long way from home, and she’d wanted to find somewhere to be down before daylight, but her day hadn’t gone as planned. So she was out and about with her blindfold on, Lioness at her paws when she caught the scent of strangers. She wouldn’t have simply slipped on past them, but she heard one of the wolves explain that they intended to hunt an elephant. that would be a hell of a story to take home.
