Rather than be put off by the darkness, Morticia found enjoyment in her explorations. The smell here was different, musty and damp. Her ears turned this way and that as she closed her eyes. It wasn’t like they were useful when it was this dark down here! And there was a neat challenge in trying to get around without her eyes. She was so caught up in the exploration that she had no idea how much time had passed until she heard someone else in the room. Oh! And he was close! A giggle escaped her as he cried out in surprise. “Rat saying hello~ Did rat nibble some toes?” Oh boy, if he was that freaked out by this place he wouldn’t do well down here at all. Maybe he needed something to calm down? Her mind drifted towards the satchel her sister gave her. Hmm… maybe. |
