Stockholm Hearts

It was a day that had felt like any other, until their father moved outside the den and called to them. Sulfur couldn’t quite make out all of the words, but he got “come out” and was on his paws. Curiously the boy would approach the world into which he was born, bright red eyes took in the brightness of the world around them, the strong smell of water and salt. He would pause by his father’s leg though, uncertain about going further yet. He hadn’t figured out that the reason he couldn’t hear everything well was because his ears didn’t develop properly, and he looked up at Ignis with a questioning frown. He didn’t know if he wanted to leave the safety of their den, or begin to explore without the man being by his side. Outside of the den everything was so much bigger, and there were so many new things…
