He picked up what little speed he could as the titanic brute closed the distance between them. Thundering across the barren earth with a few beats of his heavy paws. His first strike hit as he slammed his shoulder into hers, bringing them into close quarters. He felt her move beneath his onslaught. Likely trying to absorb some of the shock of his impact.

Her head whipped around, aiming for his snout, and he peeled his gums back over his fangs, displaying his elongated teeth as he attempted to put them between her attack. At the same time, he moved in an attempt to hook his right paw behind her own. Twisting his ankle as he did so to pop out the hidden knife in the sheath that wrapped around his forepaw.
