Aspirations?

Kotori’s pack had grown large, to the extent that they needed more land.  Despite the size Valta had grown to there were many high-rank positions that could be filled.  With plenty of work to do it seemed a good time to find out if qualified wolves wanted to try and prove themselves ready for a promotion.

Kotori sat at the bottom edge of Sunset Falls, looking towards the redbud nook that he intended to call home in the future.  The bottom pool was swollen with water due to all the rainy days that kept occurring.  Thankfully, here at midday, it wasn’t raining, nor did Kotori smell rain clouds in the wind currently.

Howling, Kotori called for Arc.  Would his nephew want the responsibility that came with a higher rank?  Kotori would like to pass the role of Jousi onto him, but no promotion comes free.  The wolf who took on the position would have added responsibilities in training the lower-ranked members, and would also have the role of leader when hunting larger prey.  They needed to not only be able to take orders but be comfortable giving them.
