Coyotes. There wasn't anything really wrong with them until you got a bunch of them together. Then they turned into mouthy, yapping hoodlums that thought they were indestructible. Like right now, there were six of them encircling the purple and charcoal fae. Some of them, the males, had lust in their eyes. Others just wanted to rip her to shreds. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction.

One of the coyotes rushed her, trying to snap at her hip. Kaino spun, teeth snapping down on its face. She came away with blood in her maw, but one of the other coyotes had taken the distraction to bite one back leg. With a snarl, Kai spun again, lunging towards the one that had bitten her. She was going to be doing a lot of spinning...
